Thomas Rhett is having a huge year! The country star took the stage on March 5 at The Forum and absolutely blew it away.
Country Artist of the Year Thomas Rhett, 26, absolutely took over the iHeartRadio Music Awards when he performed his romantic song, “Star of the Show” — and it’s no surprise he wanted to sing a love song. He’s about to become a father for the first time — of two! He and wife Lauren Gregory recently announced that they had been trying for some time to have a baby, and had decided to adopt. Just when that happened, she found out she was pregnant! Talk about a blessing.

He also just kicked off his first-ever headlining tour, and on night one he debuted two new songs, “Love Sucks” and “Craving You,” and the crowd went crazy. He’s also currently working on his third album, which will focus a ton on his family. “There’s a song called ‘Life Changes’ that’s gonna be on the record. And there’s this one line that says ‘Ain’t it funny how life changes? You wake up and nothing’s the same,’ and I would say that completely sums up the journey of my life right now,” he told Rolling Stone.
“You think you have it all figured out and all of a sudden you wake up and you’re having a baby,” he said, adding that there are a lot of changes coming for him, and that he’s experiencing a lot of firsts. “There’s a couple of songs on the album that sum it up, but I would say that one line represents life as a whole for me right now,” he said.
