Pink, Debra Messing & More Stand Up For Suicide Prevention — Here’s How You Can Too

Pink, Debra Messing and more celebs are all stepping up to support The Trevor Project, a 24-hour suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth. It's thanks to musician Ingrid Michaelson, who has designed a 'Use Your Heart' t-shirt with all proceeds benefiting the vital organization. Here, Ingrid tells HollywoodLife.com why we should take notice.

“I just wanted to do something for the LGBTQ community,” Ingrid Michaelson tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively about why she decided to take the initiative and design the “Use Your Heart Tee”. “I feel like they need our help and attention more so now than ever,” she adds. “The ‘Use Your Heart Tee’ is meant to serve as a reminder to be kind to everyone, no matter who or how they love.” Mission accomplished! You can purchase the shirt right here, and show your support on social using #UseYourHeartTee and @UseYourHeartTee.

P!nk, Debra Messing and Rachel Bloom are just a few of the stars who are on board. “Help LGBTQ and go to@UseYourHeartTee and grab a tshirt,” the “Just Like Fire” singer tweeted on Feb. 10. So awesome.

According to the official site, “Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people ages 13-24.”
