Lamar Odom & Khloe Kardashian: He’s ‘Sad’ Divorce Is Final & Knows He ‘Blew It’

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are officially, completely and totally over now that their divorce has been finalized. And with that bittersweet ending comes a lot of reflection. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY just how ‘sad’ Lamar Odom feels about how things turned out between him and Khloe.

“Lamar [Odom] takes things really hard, whether it is something serious or something very little and minuscule,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “So when it comes to his divorce being finalized he is thinking of all the good times, all the help Khloe [Kardashian] gave him when he was in the hospital, and knows he blew it. He had a great girl and he will eventually move on, but it is a sad time for Lamar because he knows he let the right girl get away. He is very emotional about it ending officially.”

The 35-year-old baller and the 32-year-old reality TV star finalized their divorce on Dec. 17, four years after Khloe had first filed. Their seven year marriage was a rocky one, full of breakups and makeups until they officially decided to call the whole thing off in May. The court documents were filed on Dec. 9, and the marriage dissolved one week later. And though the marriage is over, it is apparent that both Khloe and Lamar care for one another. But deep down, Lamar is still hurting, another insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Lamar never, ever thought the Day would come where Khloe wouldn’t be an Odom,” the second source adds. “He’s in shock that their divorce is final and he’s pissed because he knows this is all his doing. Lamar wanted badly get in the car and fly down to the courthouse yesterday and tear those papers up before the divorce became finalized but because of his undying love and respect for Khloe, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Khloe loved him hard, terribly hard and Lamar knows in his soul that he may never find another woman like her again and that’s a real realty gut check.”

Lamar is currently going through a pretty rough time, checking himself into rehab after struggling with addiction for years. And though Khloe has moved on to a serious relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson, 25, and is even legally changing her last name back to Kardashian, she is still rooting for Lamar and very proud of him for finally getting the help he needs.
