Chris Brown is really amped up over his new song ‘Party,’ but the idea of fans streaming it threw him into a rage on Dec. 16. He got so mad he even had to use his ‘Kanye voice.’ See his full enraged tirade, right here!
Chris Brown, 27, dropped his new song “Party” (with an amazing music video) late at night on Dec. 15, and along with a string of Instagrams hyping up the video, he also included a *very* passionate rant about fans streaming his music.
“PARTY IS ON ITUNES!!! F*CK STREAMS!!!” Chris wrote next to some stills from the video. “I work harder then all these n***as Wit half a y’all consumers afraid and bias ass opinions on me!! NAME ONE N***A OUT HERE DAT CAN EVEN DO HALF OF WHAT I CAN!!! IN MY KANYE VOICE!!!”
It’s unclear whether Chris is upset at legal streaming services like Spotify (which Taylor Swift has also vocally opposed), or if he’s pissed at people illegally downloading his music. Either way, he feels like he’s not getting a fair shake. “Take ya head out y’all ass and support the only artist left with a vision and dedication to his fans. I AINT GONE KEEP BUSTING MY ASS FOR IT TO BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED BY F*CKN****S IN SOCIETY! IM ON MY GORILLA SH*T!”
“I’m passionate about my sh*t and you can name one n***a that directs his own sh*t/ spend money on my projects out my pocket!!! Y’all better wake up following these non lyrical rappers and scared ass internet thugs! #NOMOREFAKESH*T. Put yo money where ya mouth is!!!!! Simple as that!!! ( NO ARROGANCE, I JUST KNOW WHAT IM WORTH) you should to!”
Chris insists that what comes off as anger is actually passion, and he wants fans to know that. “PEOPLE SAYING IM ANGRY!! The total opposite! IM FOCUSED. Some of y’all never had to struggle or work for anything in y’all life so you will never comprehend! If u ain’t on the team, simply exit your ears and eyes from my progression. Not aggression! Don’t worry, Ima lead, you choose to follow if you want. My music is only as big as my supporters allow!” We do hope his fans appreciate his music enough to pay for it, because it’s honestly really great.
