A teeny bit of trouble with the law isn’t going to turn Lauren Jauregui’s bandmates against her! The ladies of Fifth Harmony have been totally supportive since their fellow member was charged with possession of marijuana, and are behind her all the way, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned.
“The girls [in Fifth Harmony] have zero issues with Lauren [Jauregui] and are not mad at her whatsoever over her weed incident,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “She is safe and they love her very much and have her back 100% through this whole process. It is water under the bridge.”
Although it was originally reported that Lauren was arrested for possession of marijuana at Washington Dulles International Airport on Dec. 13, her attorney quickly confirmed that she was only charged. “[She] was simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance,” the lawyer explained to TMZ.
The 20-year-old clearly didn’t let the drama get to her, either — even though she couldn’t get to Brazil in time for the girls’ show on the 13th, she’s expected to go when the group hit Atlanta on the 16th. Of course, her bandmates made sure to assure her they had her back during the performance, too: Camila Cabello, 19, even urged the crowd to “sing it for our girl” during one of their songs. Awwww!
Ally Brooke, 23, Normani Hamilton, 20, and Dinah Jane Hansen, 19, haven’t publicly commented on the news, but they clearly had Lauren on their minds all night long during the concert, and our insider insists there’s no problems within the group because of this minor incident.
HollywoodLifers, did you expect Fifth Harmony would be supportive?
