It pays to be Cersei Lannister! Stunning actress Lena Headey, who gives life to the ‘Game of Thrones’ character, is in the midst of a vicious custody battle with her ex-husband, and he put her on blast for allegedly making a whole lot of dough on the show. Here’s how much!
Lena Headey is allegedly cashing in on her epic role on Game of Thrones. The 43-year-old actress that plays Cersei Lannister has been wrapped up in a pretty nasty battle with her ex-husband Peter Loughran over custody of her 6-year-old son Wylie Elliot Loughran, and the musician may have revealed what she gets paid each episode in an attempt to get more of her cash.
TMZ obtained court docs on Dec. 14 filed by Peter that claim Lena makes a whopping $1 million per episode of Game of Thrones. Yowza! Peter is trying to use the number to justify his own demands that she cover his legal fees during their custody showdown, which is a shocking $40k. So far the judge has not ruled as to whether or not Lena will have to pay up to her ex, but we definitely hope she doesn’t!
Honestly, there’s a chance that Peter might be lying to get what he wants in the custody settlement. TMZ says that word on the street was that Lena was expecting to make upwards of $500k per episode, which is still fantastic but less than half of what her ex-husband is now claiming that she’s going to make per episode heading into season 7 of the hit show. We definitely think she deserves it, but it does sound like a stretch. We’re sure the court will get to the bottom of it!
