As if Donald Trump’s presidency wasn’t controversial enough, now reports are claiming that daughter Ivanka Trump may serve as First Lady, since Melania is staying behind in NYC until her son finishes school. Read all about this White House shocker, here!
Oh great, another totally bizarre sh*tstorm has hit the Donald Trump, 70, presidency. With the inauguration date (Jan. 20) rapidly approaching, people are wondering who will fulfill the position of First Lady since Melania Trump is staying in New York City. Multiple reports speculate that daughter Ivanka Trump, 35, will actually take Melania’s place for awhile, since the Slovenian model isn’t moving to Washington D.C until youngest son Barron finishes school.

Not only that, but reports claim Ivanka will be able to stake her claim on the First Lady office inside the White House until Melania moves states. While this shakeup is totally out of the ordinary, Ivanka may be more prepared for the role than Melania. Donald’s daughter played a HUGE role during the 2016 Election, sitting in on important meetings with world leaders like Shinzo Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan. She also has big plans to “champion the environment and women” in D.C.
Many fans are concerned with how well Melania will adjust to her new position, especially because she has no political background, and English isn’t her first language. Some fashion designers are even refusing to dress her! “I have no interest whatsoever in dressing Melania Trump,” confessed fashion king Marc Jacobs. Even Tom Ford isn’t down for styling her, saying on The View, “I was asked to dress her a few years ago and I declined.” With the idea of Ivanka taking over, maybe some designers will have a change of heart…but also, maybe not, because it’s still Donald in office.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Ivanka taking over as First Lady for a while?
