Could the Jolie-Pitt’s reunite for Christmas? Brad may get to see his six children in LA for the holidays, according to a new report, Dec. 14. However, Angelina has one MAJOR condition and it involves two other people who are very close to the former couple! Get the shocking details.
Brad Pitt, 52, may get to see his six children —Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 — over the Christmas holiday. Angelina Jolie, 41, would consider letting the actor be with their children under one condition, according to Us Weekly, Dec. 14…
Here’s the scoop, as reported by the mag: Angie reportedly remains fond of Brad’s parents, Jane and William, despite their nasty divorce and custody battle. Since the actress is allegedly still on good terms with her former in-laws, her friend claims that Angie would consider letting Brad and his parents spend time with the children in LA. “She is open to that only because of Brad’s family,” Angie’s friend says. Brad will “definitely” see his six children [around the holidays], but not necessarily Christmas Eve or Day, a second source says. Wow, are we seeing some light at the end of the tunnel?
As for how Brad is feeling about his nasty custody situation with Angie — “Brad hopes to see the kids for Christmas at some point, but when, hasn’t been determined,” a friend of his tells the mag. Regardless of the unknown, “Brad is committed to staying positive. He’s just trying to look ahead.” Well, that’s a good outlook on his family turmoil.
Brad and Angie have been going tit for tat in a custody battle ever since Angie filed irreconcilable differences, Sept. 19, 2016. Angie made an unexpected move, Dec. 5, when she filed their private temporary visitation custody agreement in the LA courthouse, which made their arrangement public. Brad and Angie’s prior agreement is the temporary one that the former couple agreed on in which she would have sole physical custody of the kids and he would have monitored visits.
Soon after, Brad filed docs, Dec. 6, in LA family court, [which you can see in the link below]. The actor requested an “emergency hearing” to “seal all documents” between them for the sake of their children’s privacy. Unfortunately for Brad, a judge denied his request the very next day on Dec. 7 [also, below].
Brad and Angie’s custody battle seemingly got deeper Dec. 8, when a new report claimed Angie was so worried about the apparent “trauma” the children experienced after witnessing an alleged fight between Brad and Maddox, Sept. 15, 2016 on a plane, that she wanted a trauma therapist to see the family. However, Brad was cleared after separate investigations by the FBI and California’s Department of Child and Family Services for whatever went on during the tumultuous plane ride.
Although Angie reportedly believes seeing a trauma therapist is best for the family, it isn’t necessarily the best plan, trauma expert and psychologist, Dr. Steve Ornstein EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com. He believes that since the FBI and California’s DCFS closed their separate investigations, Angie could have ulterior motives. “Why would Angelina push forward with a trauma expert? It could be that Angelina and her lawyers are stirring the pot by trying to make Brad look bad, and this, of course, could help Angelina gain full custody of the kids,” Dr. Ornstein said. Hmm…
Nonetheless, he mentioned pursuing a different type of therapy could be helpful for the Jolie-Pitt family. With Christmas quickly approaching, we’re hoping Brad and Angie could put their differences aside and reunite for the sake of their children.
