Wow, Kanye West, 39, and Donald Trump, 70, weren’t just discussing whether or not Kanye will perform at his inauguration when they shockingly met up in New York on Dec. 13. Kanye broke his nearly two-month Twitter silence later the same day to reveal that the pair actually talked politics, including “multicultural issues” and how Donald can help schools in Chicago!
“I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” Kanye first tweeted. “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.” Some people were totally shocked that Kanye would actually sit down with the President-Elect who has often been called racist for his appalling remarks, but Kanye had an answer for those people.
“I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change,” he wrote. Wow, with so much division in the country right now, maybe it’s a good thing that Donald is willing to listen to Kanye and that Kanye is willing to talk about these issues, despite the fact that he’s still recovering from a breakdown on Nov. 21.
The most shocking part of the rant? Kanye revealed that he’s not going to run for president in 2020. Instead, he will be pushing it back until 2024, presumably so that Donald can serve two terms. This makes us wonder if Kanye would actually run as a Republican. If so, traditionally he can’t challenge Donald if he runs again in 2020. Very interesting.
