This is not a drill! Kanye West was just spotted walking into the Trump Tower in NYC for a mysterious meeting, just two weeks after his harrowing hospitalization. Could he be performing for the president-elect at his inauguration in January?
What in the world is going on? Kanye West, 39, arrived at the Trump Tower in New York City on December 13 for a meeting with President-elect Donald Trump, 70. Kanye reportedly requested the 15-minute meeting himself, and Trump agreed, according to TMZ. There’s no word yet on what the meeting was about, but we have a feeling that Kanye could be offering to perform for the president-elect at his inauguration in January!
After a short period of time, Trump and Kanye appeared in the lobby of the Trump Tower together, and revealed little about their meeting to reporters. When asked about their conversation, Trump simply said: “We’re just friends, we’re just friends. He’s a good man. We’ve been friends for a long time.” Kanye declined to say anything about the meeting, including if he would be performing at the inauguration — or if he was still interested in running for president in 2020. It’s possible that they could be playing off the true nature of their meeting for reporters, considering that Donald’s children and business partners, Eric Trump, 32, and Ivanka Trump, 35, were seen exiting the elevator with them. Ivanka is thought to be one of her father’s most trusted political advisors, too.

It could still be a total reality that he’s singing at the inauguration! The Trump family are huge Kanye fans. Eric was all smiles when he welcomed Kanye into the building! Kanye was also accompanied into the meeting with his cameraman Eli Russell Linnetz (who filmed his “Fade” and “Famous” videos), 24, Kris Jenner, 60, Corey Gamble, 35. Something is going on besides a friendly meeting between old pals.
Kanye made it clear during his bizarre rant at his San Jose concert in November that he’s a huge Trump fan, telling the audience that “I didn’t vote, but if I did, I would have voted for Donald Trump.”Trump has defended Kanye multiple times, including telling the crowd at a campaign stop over the summer that he “could never say bad about him.” The president-elect is especially fond of Kanye because he said that Kanye praised him, saying that “He says I’m his all time Hero”.
Despite Kanye’s recent psychiatric problems, the Secret Service did not view the troubled rapper as a “threat,” and he was easily able to get security clearance to see the president-elect. “Personal problems that Mr. West is working through does not establish him as a security threat to President-elect Trump,” a Secret Service official told TMZ.
