Savannah Guthrie gave birth to her 2nd child, a baby boy, less than week ago, and already she’s sharing precious moments from her son’s life with fans — including the heartwarming moment he met his big sister Vale, 2, for the very 1st time! Vale even told her new sibling that she loves him as she kissed him on the head — SO sweet! Watch the cuteness unfold here.
Looks like Savannah Guthrie‘s, 44, two-year-old daughter Vale Feldman is totally embracing her new role as big sister! Savannah gave birth to her and her husband, Michael Feldman‘s, 48, second child together on Dec. 9, and their son Charley Max is already surrounded by love — especially from little Vale!

Even sweeter, Savannah called in to the Today Show on Dec. 12, to speak with her co-workers about her newest addition. She even revealed a super cute video of Vale meeting Charley — and our hearts are seriously melting! In the clip, Vale can be seen sitting in a chair while her dad brings baby Charley down to meet her. Michael tells his daughter, “You can say it,” and Vale whispers “I love you, baby brother,” right before she adorably kisses Charley on the forehead.
“He’s happy and Vale loves him, which was a big relief,” Savannah admitted to her co-workers on-air. And to help their first meeting go smoothly, Savannah used a pretty clever tactic! Savannah revealed she and Michael put a photo of Vale in Charley’s bassinet, and put a little surprise for Vale in Charley’s bassinet as well. “Charley was in his bassinet when she walked in and then I put a lollipop in the bassinet,” Savannah explained of the advice she received from Jenna Bush Hager. “So Vale went, ‘Oh baby brother — OH lollipop!’”
Sounds like the perfect way to meet a new family member to us! But Vale isn’t the only one who seems completely enamored with the newborn. In fact, Charley has been a complete joy to the entire family. “It’s been great. He’s a good little eater and last night, we had a great night — we had two three-hour stretches of sleep,” Savannah dished.“And he’s just adorable. He’s so cute. Everything’s working.”
Savannah also told viewers that now her family feels 100 percent complete. “I remember when I was little I would say, ‘Mom, why didn’t you have more kids after me?’ And she said, ‘Because I just knew my family was complete,'” Savannah said. “And I feel that way. I feel like my family is complete and we’re so happy.” Amazing! Congrats again, you two.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — what do you think of this precious sibling moment? Isn’t little Charley adorable?
