Zayn Malik didn’t show up for the One Direction reunion in honor of Louis Tomlinson after the ‘X Factor’ finale, but that may have been for the best. HollywoodLife.com has learned EXCLUSIVELY why it was better for everyone that Zayn wasn’t there to see his old bandmates.
Louis Tomlinson, 24, was seen leaving London’s Cirque Le Soir club in London on Dec. 10, after his emotional performance on the X Factor finale, with his baby sister, Lottie, 18, and his boys from One Direction. Yes, Liam Payne, 23, and Niall Horan, 23, were seen heading to the club with the siblings, and while he wasn’t photographed with the group, Harry Styles, 22, was there too. But Zayn Malik, 23, didn’t turn out to support Louis in his time of need, following his mother, Johannah Deakin‘s, death. However, that seems to have been for the best.
“There is still quite a lot of animosity between Zayn and the rest of the gang, and it was actually a good thing he wasn’t there because it would have taken a whole different identity to the night that no one wanted,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They wanted to mourn together and if they played buddy-buddy with Zayn it would not have been genuine and added a sore spot to everything.”
It’s so sad to think that Zayn and the boys aren’t in a place where he could come over and be there for Louis after his mother’s passing. We really hope that Louis was able to take comfort in his other One Direction brethren and that one day Zayn and the band are able to make amends and be there for each other next time one of them is in need.
