This is devastating. After Louis Tomlinson’s One Direction mates reached out to him after his mother, Johannah Deakin’s tragic death, Simon Cowell shared his condolences, Dec. 9. See his ‘heartbroken’ message here.
Simon Cowell, 57, finally spoke out on the devastating death of Johannah Deakin. The TV judge took to Twitter, Dec. 9, to send a heartfelt message to Louis Tomlinson, 24, about his mother’s Dec. 7 passing. Simon reminisced on how much of an extraordinary person “Jay” truly was.
Heartbroken for you @Louis_Tomlinson. Your mum Jay was an incredible person. Sending you all my love

“Heartbroken for you @Louis_Tomlinson.”, Simon tweeted, adding, “Your mum Jay was an incredible person. Sending you all my love”. This is just so sad. It’s terrible to lose someone as young as Johannah. Louis’ mother was just 43-years-old when she lost her battle with “aggressive” leukemia.
Simon joins a slew of stars who’ve reached out to Louis on social media during this tough time. After some fans thought the One Direction members were all at odds after their “break,” regardless of any rumors, the boys came together to support their old friend. Liam Payne, 23, Niall Horan, 23, and Zayn Malik, 23, all took to Twitter, Dec. 9, to express their love and sadness over Johannah’s passing. Liam and Zayn both called Louis their brother as they shared their condolences. Niall, just like Simon, revealed how much of an “incredible” person Johannah was.
The only noticeable member who hasn’t reached out publicly, is Harry Styles, 22. However, we’re thinking a very private Harry most likely made a personal phone call or gesture. Liam’s pregnant girlfriend and X Factor UK judge, Cheryl Cole, 33, even tweeted that her thoughts were with Louis and his family. We’re glad to see the 1D family rallying around their friend during this unthinkable time.
Johannah’s husband, Dan, confirmed her passing, which was in the early hours of the morning, Dec. 7, to Capital FM, in an official, heartfelt statement [Dec. 9]. “Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment,” he said. “We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.” Johannah was a loving mother of seven children — Lottie, 18, Felicite 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, 2, with Louis being her oldest child. Our thoughts are with Louis and his family during this difficult time.
