It truly is so sad to lose someone so young. Louis Tomlinson can clearly count on his One Direction family in this horrific time of his life. Shortly after the announcement of Louis’ mother, Johannah’s, death, Liam Payne shared his condolences. See his sad message here.
“Louis, I am so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you’ shared Liam Payne, who was clearly heartbroken over the shocking news of the passing of Louis Tomlinson’s mom, Johannah Deakin. “Just know I love you the same from a million miles away as i do right next to you. I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can’t begin to imagnie what you are all going through. Rip Johanna you are forever in my thoughts.”
At only 43, her battle with aggressive leukemia came to an end on Dec. 7, which was confirmed by her husband Dan early Dec. 9. “It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016,” he said in a statement to Capital FM. “Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private.”
Interestingly enough, before Liam came forward, his girlfriend Cheryl shared her sadness over the passing of Louis’ beloved mom. “Louis, my heart breaks for you,” Cheryl shared. “I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones at this incredibly tragic time.” Of course, condolence flooded to Louis from across the world, from friends and fans worldwide, who were beyond devastated to hear the unexpected and shocking news. In her husband’s statement, he confirmed that Johannah had been hospitalized since May at University College London Hospital battling leukemia, a diagnosis Louis did not speak about with the public. How awful for him and six younger siblings.
