Wow. Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui took a step away from the powerful girl group to drop a sick solo single, which also features Marian Hill. Click inside to hear ‘Back To Me’!
Watch out, Camila Cabello, 19! Another Harmonizer, Lauren Jauregui, 20, has started lending her voice to other music projects, and her first song as a solo artist is totally out of this world. Lauren recently teamed up with Marian Hill, an indie pop artist, for a song called “Back To Me” that is so cool you’re going to need a scarf and gloves before even hitting play. Okay, that was really cheesy, but you get the point.
The most exciting thing about Lauren’s solo project is how different it sounds than her usual Fifth Harmony performances. Marian’s music is known for being somewhat simplistic, and although “Back To Me” is a total jam it has a super chill vibe in comparison to 5H’s upbeat dance tracks. The contrast in tracks is pretty amazing, and we love that Lauren is branching out into different genres!
Make sure to listen to “Back To Me” in full above, and then vote in our below. We really want to know what you think of Lauren’s new song — love or loathe — and we’re super curious what fans think about so many different 5H girls trying solo projects. Could their group be in danger, or are the girls just having some fun during their downtime? Hmm!
