Brad Pitt May Be In For ‘Expensive, Nasty Divorce’ With Angelina Jolie: Lawyer Explains

It looks like Brad Pitt has a very long and expensive battle with Angelina Jolie as he fights to see his kids. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY spoke to California divorce lawyer, David Pisarra, who told us that this could get messier very quickly! And, it looks like it’s just the beginning… Here’s what we’ve learned!

Brad Pitt, 52, and Angelina Jolie, 41, could have the most expensive and prolonged Hollywood split we’ve EVER seen! While the ex couple may already be exhausted from their brutal divorce and custody battle, it appears that they are only in the warm-up round. HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY spoke with California divorce attorney, David Pisarra, who explained to us that, Angelina is turning this divorce into an all out war, based on the custody docs that both she and Brad have filed. “The docs show that Angelina intends to fight him on everything and will not back down,” Pisarra told us. “Angie is indicating that she is going to turn this into a long, expensive process,” to get what she wants, which is sole physical custody of the couple’s six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. Wow.

Pisarro points out that Angelina wants individual child custody evaluations, which will get extremely expensive, very quickly. He says this could cost the battling couple up to $250,000.00 or more [for therapists],” adding, that “they will have a team of psychiatrists and therapists that will want to talk to and run tests on the children.” Not to mention, “The experts will also want to interview Brad, Angelina, nannies, parents, friends, family, and all of the kids. These experts are very expensive and this will turn into a long, expensive, nasty, public divorce.” This is just awful.

Brad and Angie have been going back and forth in their custody battle for months now. Angie moved to file their private temporary visitation custody agreement in the LA courthouse, Dec. 5, which would make the arrangement public. Well, Brad didn’t like that, so he filed docs [which you can see in our attached gallery], Dec. 6 in LA family court. He requested an “emergency hearing” to “seal all documents” between them for the sake of their children’s privacy. However, a judge reportedly denied Brad’s request the next day, Dec. 7.

So, that’s where Brad and Angie’s battle is at right now. Just today, [Dec. 8] a new report came out claiming that Angie’s so concerned about the supposed “trauma” experienced by the children after witnessing an alleged fight between Brad and Maddox on a Sept. 15, 2016 plane ride, that she wants a trauma therapist to work with the family. In an alleged Dec. 1 email from Angie’s lawyer to Brad’s, she proposes that they “participate in joint sessions with a trauma specialist so they may learn how to best support and interact with their children,” according to TMZ. The site says that she highlights the Sept. 15, 2016 plane ride, in which Brad was allegedly verbally and physically abusive with Maddox. However, Brad WAS cleared after separate investigations by the FBI and California’s Department of Child and Family Services.

Divorce attorney, David Pisarra tells us that in doing this, Angie “is already not playing by the rules by going against their prior agreement and making information public” by filing it in court. Just so you can keep track of things, Brad and Angie’s prior agreement is the temporary one that the former couple agreed on in which she would have sole physical custody of the kids and he would have monitored visits.

Despite Angelina’s new demands, Brad is not backing down. In fact, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, that Brad is still pushing hard to get joint custody.
