Kanye West was released from the hospital after his tragic breakdown, and we can only assume that he’ll be making big changes as he recovers. But what will that mean for his Saint Pablo Tour, which he cancelled after the hospitalization?
Yeezy is back! Kanye West, 39, was officially let go from the UCLA Medical Center on Nov. 30, where he was reportedly admitted for exhaustion, among many other issues. But despite the new bill of health he will NOT be rescheduling his cancelled Saint Pablo Tour dates, which he shockingly cut just before his “medical emergency,” TMZ reports.
While Kanye’s physician reportedly gave the rapper the green light to leave his hospital bed, Kanye is still in a “fragile state and needs medical and psychological help to become healthy again,” a sourced told TMZ. And unlike treating a common cold or broken bone, there unfortunately isn’t a projected timeframe for recovery in this case. SO sad!
As previously reported, Kanye suddenly cancelled his Saint Pablo Tour dates on Nov. 21, only hours before he was admitted to the LA hospital for exhaustion. At the time, the “Famous” rapper had more than a month of sold-out concerts to go. He was scheduled to perform on tour through Dec. 31, but it was announced that all shows were to be cancelled and the money be refunded to fans.
While the Saint Pablo Tour originally received rave reviews for its epic stage props and set list, the last couple of shows appeared to take a different turn after Kanye found himself at the center of controversy for his crazy remarks. Not only did he say that he would have voted for Donald Trump, 70, but he made outrageous claims about his friends, Jay Z, 46, and Beyonce, 34! People even started booing and throwing things at him. Yikes!
Okay, so we and probably tons of fans, are bummed that we won’t be getting to see the final Saint Pablo shows. But on the other hand, we are SO glad Kanye is getting back on his feet! He definitely has a long road to recovery ahead of him, as he’s allegedly been suffering from depression and paranoia for some time now. Perhaps some time away from the spotlight and spending time with his wife and kids will do him some good! Sources close to TMZ suggest he could “bounce back.” We just have to give him space. Fingers crossed!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kanye will be able to bounce back?
