Kanye West may be out of the hospital, but that doesn’t mean his treatment is over! The rapper left UCLA Medical Center to be with his kids North and Saint for the holidays, but he fully intends to continue getting help with outpatient care. Here’s the scoop!
After over a week of treatment at UCLA Medical Center following an alleged breakdown on Nov. 21, Kanye West, 39, finally left the hospital on Nov. 30. Prior to being checked out, many reports claimed that Kanye wasn’t doing so well, hadn’t found a treatment that worked for him and hadn’t been diagnosed. So why did he leave?
“Kanye came home for several reasons,” an insider told E! News on Dec. 1. “Saint (West) and North (West) being one.” Aww! We understand why Kanye couldn’t bear to be away from his children. It is the holidays after all, and Kanye wasn’t able to come home for their big Thanksgiving celebration. His babies are over the moon to have him back! North and Saint “are very happy and don’t really have any idea what’s happening with their dad.”
However, that doesn’t mean that Kanye is abandoning his treatment. He’s trying to do what’s best for his family, and continuing to work on his problems is an important part of that. “Kanye is feeling better but is seeking outpatient support and help,” the source explained. Perhaps being in a familiar environment surrounded by his friends, family, kids, and beautiful wife Kim Kardashian will help him heal quicker and give him some motivation to address the issues he seems to have ignored for far too long. Good luck, Yeezy!
