We’re so happy for Amanda Seyfried and her sexy fiancé Thomas Sadoski, who announced that they’re expecting their first child together on Nov. 29. Amidst the exciting news, we’ve rounded up five things you need to know about the father of her future child, here.
1. He is a successful film, stage and TV actor.
Thomas Sadoski, 40, stars in the hilarious sitcom Life in Pieces on CBS, which also stars Colin Hanks. He’s also starred in John Wick, Wild and I Smile Back. And we can’t forget one our favorite shows on TV, The Newsroom, in which he played Don Keefer throughout the series. He’s seriously such a talented actor — and beyond adorable.
2. He graduated from the prestigious Circle in the Square Theatre School.
Thomas attended New York City’s acclaimed Circle in The Square Theatre School, the only accredited school attached to a Broadway theatre. He graduated from the program in 1998, after attending the University of North Texas for one semester. Other notable alumni from the Theatre School include Idina Menzel and Kevin Bacon!
3. He was previously married before getting engaged to Amanda Seyfried.
Before he and Amanda Seyfried, 30, got engaged in Sept. 2016, he was married to Kimberly Hope. The ex-couple wed in 2007 and divorced in Oct. 2015. By the next year, he and Amanda dated and then soon got engaged.
4. He’s garnered numerous nominations for his acting achievements.
Thomas was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role in Reasons to Be Pretty in 2009. Even though he didn’t win, that’s seriously amazing! He won both a Lucille Lortel Award and Obie Award in 2011 for his role in the play Other Desert Cities.
5. He’s also narrated an audiobook before and got rave reviews for it.
Thomas narrated Stephen King‘s audiobook recording of Mile 81 in Jan. 2011. He got amazing reviews from both Publisher’s Weekly and Audiofile magazine! He also narrated the radio play version of his show Reasons to be Pretty.
