If watching endless Taylor Swift, 26, music videos is at the top of your priority list every single weekend, THEN LISTEN UP. It was announced on Nov. 28 that the blonde bombshell will be partnering up with DIRECTV to create her very own channel called, Taylor Swift Now (of course). The highly-anticipated channel will feature music videos, concert performances, and behind the scenes footage, according to Variety. The only downside, however, is that there’s an endpoint to this awesomeness. The channel will be made up of 13 chapters, a nod to the singer’s favorite number, and then cut off.
The bigger picture here is that DIRECTV is now expanding its horizons into being a video streaming service, mainly because people are too impatient to wait for the real thing these days. The streaming feature will come into play on Nov. 30, but it’s still unclear when the Taylor channel will become available for diehard fans to watch. We knew something incredible was about to happen when T-Swizzle announced a new contract deal with AT&T in Oct., and now, we finally know what it’s all about!
If a channel still isn’t enough Taylor for you, it’s a good thing the Super Bowl is just a few months away! It was also announced in Oct. that the “Bad Blood” songbird is going to make an appearance at Super Bowl 51 alongside Lady Gaga. Since Mother Monster has already snagged the halftime show slot, Taylor is set to perform BEFORE the game kicks off in early Feb. With so many incredible projects coming up, we can’t even imagine how Taylor has time to release a new album! She really CAN do it all!
HollywoodLifers, how stoked are you about this upcoming Taylor channel? Will you watch it endlessly?
