Check out our recap!
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell decided to have their Bachelor and Bachelorette parties in Vegas with their a ton of special guests — their Bachelor family! But, there’s one problem, none of their guests knew they called off their wedding! Well, Haley and Emily Ferguson did, of course, since they’ve been show regulars.
Lauren’s squad consisted of; Ashley I, Amanda Stanton, and the twins. Her sister and closest friends were there too! Ben’s squad had the likes of; Tanner, JJ, and Jared. Both groups separated for their weekend celebrations, and things got weird, to say the least. You know when you reunite Bachelor friends, there would be R-rated chats, inappropriate stories and so much more crazy things.
Ben gots life and marriage advice from his Bachelor bros and then things turned serious. He revealed to the guys that he and Lauren have been in couples therapy and that they “have issues.” Ben said he wasn’t feeling as happy during his bachelor party, and he was wondering if Lauren felt “it” to. Then, Ben was the first to cave and confessed to the guys that the wedding was off. Everyone was shocked, especially Tanner, who revealed that he and Jade are basically perfect. Duh.

Lauren, on the other hand didn’t cave. Instead, the twins let the “cat out of the bag” for her. They told Ashley I, and well, it got out. However, Lauren was happy, because she didn’t have to do it herself.
The entire episode was Ben and Lauren basically finding their way back together each other. They talked things out with their closest friends and family members, and it made Ben and Lauren realize they were meant to be all along. It just took a little time to adjust to the chaos of life together.
So, on one of their last nights in Vegas, Ben and Lauren’s friends took them to a special spot to surprise them. Each group told them to look up, and when they did a screen atop the Marque lit up with photos and memories of Ben and Lauren’s journey — from the day they met until that very moment. It was seriously the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
Finally, Ben called Lauren to meet him at the top of the Skyfall Lounge that overlooks all of Vegas. They poured their hearts out, calling each other “my person.” Ben told Lauren the wedding was back on and all of their friends came out with a champagne toast. They partied the night away, laughing and enjoying that special memory with their loved ones.
So, what’s next for the couple? — “I think we’re going to plan a wedding,” Ben said. Lauren added, “I think we’ll live happily ever after.” AH! And there you have it!
After a long season of ups and a lot of emotional downs, Ben and Lauren learned so much about each other, as they figured out the true meaning of love. They worked out all the kinks with the help of their Bachelor nation family, and we couldn’t be happier the wedding is back on! Here’s to hopefully seeing an epic wedding and a second season in our future!
