The ‘Riverdale’ trailer is the one we’ve been waiting for — and it’s finally here! The CW show debuted its trailer on Nov. 28, along with a whole bunch of photos from the new show. And let’s just say, everyone in it is stunning.

Attention, comic book fans… or just TV fans who miss a good teen drama. Seriously though, they’re very few and far between these days with The CW’s lineup of superhero dramas. However, Greg Berlanti doesn’t just do capes. Riverdale looks like exactly what we wanted.

The CW has released the very enticing synopsis: As a new school year begins, the town of Riverdale is reeling from the tragic death of golden boy Jason Blossom, and its changed everything. Archie Andrews (played by KJ Apa) is still the all-American teen, but the summer’s events made him realize that he wants to pursue a career in music — not follow in his dad’s footsteps—despite the sudden end of his forbidden relationship with Riverdale’s young music teacher, Ms. Grundy (Sarah Habel).

Archie’s friendship has recently failed with Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse), and the girl-next-door Betty Cooper (Lili Reinhart) is anxious to see him — she’s been crushing on him forever but isn’t ready to tell him. But she better move fast: when new girl Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes), arrives in town from New York with her mother, she’s drawn to Archie (this sounds very Dawson’s Creek season one like, no?), but doesn’t want to risk she and Betty’s new friendship.

And then there’s Jason’s sister, the Queen bee, Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch) who is hiding something about the death of her twin brother. Luke Perry, Marisol Nichols, and Ashleigh Murray also star.
