The country group that usually has an element of rock ‘n’ roll in every performance pulled a much simpler and calmer trick out of their hats for the CMA Country Christmas. Leaving behind the heavy production of flashing lights and choreographed dance moves are the Rascal Flatts, whose “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing” performance is powerful enough to stand on its own. Rascal Flatt’s authentic and emotional show was the perfect time for self-reflection and realizing what’s most important to us as the new year approaches. It was a serene moment packed with thankful messages.

The Rascal Flatts have been full of surprises lately, namely for their “Let It Go” remix with actress-turned songbird Lucy Hale. The Pretty Little Liars star teamed up with the Rascal Flatts to add a hint of country to the famous Frozen jingle in Oct. 2015 for a special Christmas album. The album also features A-listers like Gwen Stefani, Ne-Yo, and Ariana Grande. Ever since the movie’s release in 2013, “Let It Go” has been gaining tons of traction, and the Rascal Flatts definitely do it justice!
On top of that, Christina Aguilera also couldn’t stop herself from going country. The “Beautiful” singer partnered up with the musical group at the 2015 ACM Awards to sing a live version of “Shotgun” from the Nashville TV show. Christina rocked the stage in Dallas with her epic show, which later transitioned into the Rascal Flatt’s jam “Riot.” Clearly everyone wants a piece of the Rascal Flatts!
