Who better than Kelly Clarkson to add a little holiday cheer to your living room?! The original ‘American Idol’ rocked the CMA Country Christmas stage with her performance of ‘Run Run Rudolph’ — and it’s a must-see! Check out the highlights!
Kelly Clarkson, 34, is officially the Queen of Christmas! The gorgeous singer has been perfecting the art of holiday songs ever since the 2013 release of her Christmas album, Wrapped In Red, which was no doubt one of her most stand-out pieces — until now! Kelly surpassed all our expectations with her live performance of “Run Run Rudolph” at the CMA Country Christmas event in Nashville, Tennessee on Nov. 28. Dressed in a navy blue dress and black tights, Kelly had the audience dancing in their seats! If you’re not feeling the holiday spirit after her show, then you seriously must be the Grinch!

But it wouldn’t truly be Christmas without some presents, right? Well, Kelly’s got that covered, too (is she Santa Clause or something?) The American Idol beauty shocked all of us when she announced her upcoming EIGHT studio album set for release in 2017. Kelly claims this album is going to be her greatest one yet! “It’s the first time I got to pick my label, because I just got out of my [American] Idol contract,” she explained to People. Kelly is finally a free agent and we can’t wait to see how she spreads her wings!
The mother-of-two has clearly had her hands full for awhile! On top of working on a new solo project, Kelly’s been juggling daughter River Rose, son Remington, AND recorded a song for the Hamilton mix-tape. Kelly sings “It’s Quite Uptown” — a heavyhearted song that revolves around Hamilton’s pain after losing his son in a horrific duel. Sure, it’s not one of Kelly’s most uplifting performances, but the incredible amount of range in her voice is outstanding!
