Donald Trump went on a full-blown tirade via Twitter yet again on Nov. 27, insisting that he won the popular vote despite evidence otherwise. The President-Elect claimed ‘millions of people’ voted illegally for Hillary Clinton and that’s why she has such a ginormous lead.
Donald Trump, 70, is fully aware of Hillary Clinton‘s 2 million ballot lead in the popular vote, but still refuses to believe it’s true. The President-Elect took to Twitter on Nov. 27, with what could be his most brazen statement yet. “In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally,” he wrote, despite having no evidence of his claims. Although Donald won the Electoral College and the White House, the former Democratic nominee still continues to surpass him with the popular vote.

He continued, “It would have been much easier for me to win the so-called popular vote than the Electoral College in that I would only campaign in 3 or 4 states instead of the 15 states that I visited. I would have won even more easily and convincingly (but smaller states are forgotten)!” Donald’s implications are very bizarre, especially after he previously claimed the system was “rigged” against him, yet accepted his shocking victory with ease. The President-Elect added, “Serious voter fraud in Virginia, New Hampshire and California – so why isn’t the media reporting on this? Serious bias – big problem!”
Donald seems to be very frustrated this weekend, especially after learning that Green Party officials filed for a recount in Wisconsin on Nov. 25. Many believe there could have been inconsistencies with voters who used paper ballots versus the electronic system. The Clinton camp will also reportedly be joining the efforts. Donald has since called the movement a “scam,” and claimed, “Hillary conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in. Nothing will change.”
