This is too cute! Formerly conjoined twins Jadon & Anias McDonald finally looked each other in the eyes — and the precious moment was captured on film! In their 1st post-surgery pic, the two 1-year-olds stare at one another face-to-face and it’s incredibly adorable! Even better, their doctors say they’re healing exceptionally ‘fast!’
Up until Oct. 14, twins Jadon and Anias McDonald, 1, were conjoined by the tops of their heads. And now, over one month later, the two are healing remarkably well and have finally been photographed together for the first time since their major procedure! The pic, which features the bandaged brothers looking at each other, is seriously SO sweet!

In their first photo together, Jadon and Anias are pictured in the recovery room of Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx. “It’s the most amazing thing. I just can’t even believe it,” their mother, Nicole McDonald, said to CNN about the 22-hour surgery last month that successfully separated her babies. “And look at his little hair. On top, it’s growing in!”
The 14-month-olds have certainly been through a lot in their short lifetimes, but soon they’ll be moving to a rehab center to recover from their serious operation. And while more surgeries are still required, their happy ending is officially near. “How does it feel to be your own little boy?” their father, Christian McDonald, asked Jadon after the procedure.
“You sure are handsome. Look at you. You look like a perfect little boy.” Even better, the twins’ recovery is going miraculously well, according to lead surgeon Dr. James Goodrich. In fact, the doctor told the news outlet that their recovery has been the fastest he’s ever seen after having this operation done!
“For over 13 months, I’ve dreamed of this moment,” Nicole wrote on Facebook after the surgery. “I looked down at Jadon’s angelic face and saw him in a way I’d never seen him before.” Aw! We’re so happy the two are doing so well and we look forward to hearing more good news!
Tell us, HollywoodLifers — are you surprised by how well little Jadon and Anias seem to be doing? Aren’t they precious?
