Good news! Donald Trump may not trash the Paris Climate Accord after all. In a huge about-face, the man – who claimed global warming was a ‘Chinese hoax’ – said he thinks humans are causing the planet to get hotter and he’ll keep an ‘open mind’ about the climate change agreement!
While the 99.9% of the scientific community agrees the temperature is rising, it might be a cold day in Hell. A Republican has actually admitted there’s evidence of humans causing climate change. “I think there is some connectivity,” president-elect Donald Trump, 70, said while meeting with The New York Times on Nov. 21.
Maggie Haberman, correspondent for the paper, live tweeted the meeting between the next President of the United States and the iconic publication, revealing that the head of the Republican Party actually sees “some” evidence that humans are causing the planet to get hotter.

Now, words are one thing – actions are another. While campaigning, Donald has threatened to pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Accord, the multinational agreement aimed to reduce climate change. Will he follow through once he’s sworn in as president? “I’m looking at it very closely,” Donald said during the meeting, according to The New York Times. “I have an open mind to it.”
The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

Donald finally admitting that there’s a connection between human activity and climate change wasn’t the only major revelation during this talk with The New York Times. Trump came out and trashed his Alt-Right supporters! Despite appointing Steve Bannon, 57, (the executive chair of Breitbart News) as a chief strategist, Trump said the white supremacist group is not one he “want(s) to energized. And if they are energized, I want to look into it and find out why.”
Trump also said that, “in theory, I could run my business perfectly and then run the country perfectly.” Uh, really? There was a report that during his meeting with President Barack Obama, 55, Donald seemed bewildered by all the work the president has to do. Is he sure he knows what he’s getting into?
Perhaps the nation should just be happy that Donald has acknowledged that climate change is real. Maybe he finally heard what Bernie Sanders, 74, said about him, as Bernie trashed Trump’s climate-change denial. “What astounds me, and I hope this changes very quickly, is we now have a president-elect who actually does not believe that climate change is real,” he said on Face The Nation on Nov. 13. Huh. Seems that it did change quickly after all.
What do you think about Donald acknowledging a connection between humans and climate change, HollywoodLifers?
