Soon after baby Dream Kardashian’s birth, reports surfaced that Kris Jenner was furious by her son’s choice of name for her granddaughter. But in setting the record straight, Kris recently shut those rumors DOWN, claiming that not only did she know about the name before Dream was born, but she completely approves. In fact, she thinks it’s ‘pretty!’
Kris Jenner, 61, is SO excited about being a six-time grandmother. And while gushing about the newest addition to the Kardashian fam, baby Dream Kardashian, 11 days, the reality star couldn’t help but squash rumors that she doesn’t approve of her granddaughter’s name. Speaking to E! News, Kris admitted that she knew of Dream’s name ahead of time and that she thinks it’s super “pretty.”
So there you have it! Seems like Kris was most likely on board with the non-“K”name all along. But regardless of her name, Kris cannot get enough of her tiny grand baby. And while both Rob Kardashian, 29, and Blac Chyna, 28, are getting as much sleep as you can expect with a newborn, Kris revealed to the publication at A Night of Art and Charity benefiting The Humane Society, that Dream is a wonderful addition.
“She’s such a great baby though,” Kris gushed. “She’s been really calm and really sweet so they are very lucky.” Chyna gave birth to her and Rob’s first child together on Nov. 10, and Kris was lucky enough to be in the delivery to witness the baby girl’s birth. And even though the momager has experienced multiple deliveries, she explained that each one is special.
“It’s always so exciting when your baby has a baby so it was really great,” she shared. “It’s really emotional. Like you can’t believe that this is happening. To see a baby being born and in my case, I’ve been there for six of my grandchildren’s births so it’s quite something.” Aw!
“It’s been a week, so it’s been something that is spectacular, because [Rob] is so happy, he is so excited, and he wants to share it with everybody,” the reality star told US Weekly at the same event. It definitely sounds like Dream has already brought a lot joy to the family!
Last week it was reported that Kris wanted Rob’s child to follow with tradition and bear a “K” name. In fact, she allegedly wanted the baby to be named after HER, but it looks like that’s something she got over pretty quickly after meeting baby Dream. Next month, the birth will be featured on the upcoming Rob & Chyna Baby Special, set to air Dec. 18, at 8 p.m. ET.
