Say it ain’t so! Just one day after Kanye West announced the cancellation of the rest of his explosive ‘Saint Pablo Tour,’ the controversial rapper has reportedly been hospitalized on Nov. 21. We have all the details, right here.
Kanye West, 39, has allegedly been checked into the UCLA Medical Center on Nov. 21. Police sources told TMZ that they went to ‘Ye’s trainer Harley Pasternak’s home in response to a medical welfare call and ended up transporting him to the medical facility where they could allegedly keep him under ‘psychiatric evaluation’. Police, firemen and his trainer all reportedly worked to convince him to go, and even allegedly had to restrain him to take him there by ambulance.
When asked about Kanye’s situation, LAPD’s Officer Mike Lopez told HollywoodLife.com that “At 1:20pm LAPD responded to a disturbance call at the 800 block of North Laurel ave. The disturbance became a medical emergency, at which point LA Fire dept. took over the scene.” Mike could not confirm that Kanye was the person involved.
The shocking news comes just one day after he cancelled the remainder of the Saint Pablo tour, following several extensive on-stage rants about Donald Trump, Beyonce and Jay Z. Fans began to fear that he was suffering from a nervous breakdown, and Dr. Carole Lieberman told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that hospitalization was in Kanye’s best interest if that’s what he’s going through right now. “The best remedy is to get the person to a psychiatrist or an Emergency Room as soon as possible. Not only do they damage relationships and careers, they can accidentally cause injury or death to themselves and others.” We definitely don’t want to see something that grave happen to Yeezy!
This is the worst possible time for this to happen to Kanye, since his wife Kim Kardashian, 36, was out of town for the first time since her harrowing robbery in October. Kim was slated to appear at the Angel Ball in New York City on Nov. 21, but quickly turned around when she heard the news. Kris Jenner still walked the carpet and talked to ET, saying “I think he’s exhausted. Just really tired,” Jenner offered. “It’s a grueling tour.”
