LOL! ‘Saturday Night Live’ went the extra mile for their highly anticipated Nov. 19 episode, kicking off the show with a politically charged skit! Alec Baldwin reprised his role as Donald Trump, this time using Google in order to find a plan on how to defeat ISIS!
The superstar cast of SNL switched up their style for the special post-election show last week, but this time, they returned back to their usual tongue-in-cheek cold open, fully loaded with political satire. Alec Baldwin, 58, reprised his iconic role of President-Elect Donald Trump, 70, giving viewers a peek at his first week in office. Seeming a bit lost, he started freaking out about ISIS, utilizing Google in order to obtain a solid plan on how to defeat them! Getting 59 million results, he then asks Siri for some help before reverting to his calming phrase, “big beautiful boobs and buildings,” repeating it several times before finding a happy place. Fans were even treated to a surprise appearance from Jason Sudeikis, who returned to play Mitt Romney!

They even addressed Mike Pence‘s recent drama with the Broadway cast. “I heard you went to see Hamilton,” Alec’s Donald says, then asking how the experience was to Beck Bennett‘s Mike, who replied, “It was good. I got a free lecture.” So what about jailing Hillary Clinton? Donald replies, “Scrap it. She didn’t do anything. Scrapped.” Alec definitely gave fans the surprise of their lives by making a grand return, after rumors circulated that the actor would be hanging up his red power tie for good. We’re glad he’s back! Last week, Kate McKinnon reprised her role as Hillary to offer the nation some inspiration with her awe-inspiring rendition of Leonard Cohen‘s “Hallelujah.” She even recently earned a Critics Choice nomination for her impression!
It’s certainly been a stellar episode this evening, with fans being treated to a special appearance from SNL alum Kristen Wiig. The star got the audience extra hyped with her energy, serving as the host while also showing off her acting chops for a few knee-slapping skits. Indie band The xx is even set to perform on the iconic 8H stage, making for one well-rounded show. After last week’s powerful opening monologue from Dave Chappelle, it’s obvious the hit NBC late-night series always delivers with relevant content, featuring some extra spice.
