American woman! Julianne Hough rocked a gorgeous girl-next-door hair and makeup look at the 2016 AMAs — get the details on her beauty below!
Held live in Los Angeles on Nov. 20, Julianne Hough looked so great on the red carpet at the American Music Awards. She wore an icy blue Zuhair Murad bodysuit and skirt from the Spring 2017 ready-to-wear collection.
Her hair was longer, thanks to extensions, and super sleek and straight — no frizz despite the super rainy night in Los Angeles!
For her makeup, Spencer Barnes worked with Mally Beauty to create glowing skin using the Mally Beauty Perfect Prep Neutralizing Primer and Evercolor Poreless Face Defender. After adding a natural contour and highlight and a soft smokey eye, Spencer created a soft pink lip by using the Mally Beauty H3 Lipstick in Sheerly, with a coat of Mally Beauty H3 Lipgloss in Tea Rose over top for a high-shine finish.
Julianne is busy this week — Nov. 21 and 22 are the final episodes of season 23 of Dancing With The Stars!
We’ve LOVED seeing her amazing beauty looks throughout the season. Every week she gives us something new, different, cool and inspiring! We especially loved the wild curls she rocked on Halloween by hairstylist Riawna Capri and her mermaid blue eye makeup she wore back in October by Spencer.
Julianne told E! on the AMAs red carpet: “We’ve got four competitors left. It’s really tight. We obviously have amazing dancers. Everybody’s personality is so strong, and everybody is so different and unique. You guys are just going to have to watch tomorrow and Tuesday to see what happens.”
She also spoke about being a judge on the show, versus a professional dancer.
“I want to hop over and do a little grooving, but I love to judge. I think it’s really fun, and to be able to be in that position where I have been a dancer, I want to be able to give some good criticism. It’s funny, because everybody always asks, ‘Is it hard to judge your brother [Derek Hough]?’ But I really, I’m judging him with his partner, not just him.”
