Hold back the river! James Bay blew everyone away in his stunning performance of ‘Let It Go’ at the 2016 AMAs. Please hold. We need a moment. And tissues.
Okay, moment over — that was AMA-zing! James Bay, 26, just took the American Music Awards stage for the first time ever and gave a beautiful performance of “Let It Go.” The singer/songwriter made his debut this year with his first album, The Chaos and the Calm, featuring his popular songs “Hold Back The River” and “Let It Go.”
Well, it’s safe to say James Bae crushed his first AMA performance. Singing “Let It Go,” James gave a swoon-worthy performance. Following an exciting performance by Halsey and The Chainsmokers, the Brit slowed things down a bit with his acoustic rendition. On a vintage light bulb-lit stage, James serenaded the crowd, as the camera panned over a awe-struck audience that was singing along. He wore his signature wide-brimmed hat while he strummed his guitar. Beautiful!

In addition to James, so many artists are taking over the stage this AMAs! Fifth Harmony, Bruno Mars, Halsey and The Chainsmokers are all highly-anticipated performances. However, the most exciting moment of night has to be the return of Selena Gomez, who has been off-the-grid since August.
Selena has been in a rehab facility in Tennessee, battling debilitating side-effects of her lupus diagnosis. Tonight, at the AMAs, she’s making her debut since taking some time off. She’s up for 2 awards this evening! We are so happy to see her back on the stage! What a comeback!
