Kanye West Meme Blasting President Bush For Hating Black People Goes Viral Again

Wow, people really miss the ‘old’ Kanye West! The ‘George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People’ meme has gained traction once again, following Kanye’s latest long-winded political rant. Check out the best tweets right here!

Some fans are getting sick of Kanye West‘s political rants and overall bad mood, and it’s easy to see why. He told the crowd at his San Jose, CA concert on Nov. 17 that he would have “voted for [Donald] Trump“, had he, you know, actually voted, and Twitter exploded at him immediately after!

Well, an ancient meme has begun trending again. “George Bush Doesn’t Care About Black People” was a controversial quote that Ye said during the Concert for Hurricane Relief in 2005, accusing then-President George W. Bush of being unsympathetic towards the African American communities affected by Hurricane Katrina. The Internet quickly did its thing, churning out crappily cut video clips (this was before GIFs, all!) and poorly spelled polls and variations on the quote. Now it’s back!

“I miss the old kanye smh,” one fan tweeted. “I miss the old Kanye/The socially woke Kanye/Called Bush a joke Kanye/He used his vote Kanye,” another user rhymed (impressively). Take a look at more tweets below:

ICYMI, here’s what went down at Ye’s show. “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?” he asked the crowd. “But I didn’t tell you, I guess I’ll tell you, but if I were to vote, I would’ve voted Trump. He then embarked on a crazy rant, explaining that  “there was things that I liked about Trump’s campaign” and calling this period of time the “beginning of change”. Talk about cringe-worthy.

HollywoodLifers, are you happy that this Kanye meme is back? Or are you sick of the rapper altogether? Tell us what you think!
