Whoa! Looks like not everyone was super psyched about ‘Drake Night’ at the Toronto Raptors vs. Golden State Warriors game. Warriors baller Kevin Durant totally slammed the singer after a VERY awkward run-in on the court that was caught on tape. Check out the video here!
OMG. Watching this video of Golden State Warriors player Kevin Durant, 28, dissing rapper Drake, 30, absolutely makes us cringe it’s so very awkward! Seriously. So, in the clip, Kevin is just minding his own business, talking to a sports reporter about how he thinks the game between the Warriors and the Toronto Raptors is going on Nov. 16, right? But then, Drake bumps into him and Kevin stares him down like he’s totally gonna kill him. Whoa!
After that, the reporter tries to get the conversation back on track, and then finishes up the interview asking him how he feels about it being “Drake Night” at the game. Well, according to Kevin, he “doesn’t give a damn about ‘Drake Night.'” Ouch! That’s gotta hurt. Why the hostility Kevin? We though you and Drizzy were buds! Jeeze.
The Toronto-native was being celebrated at the game for being one of the biggest NBA fans of all time. Seriously, Drake is all about basketball and the Raptors wanted to show their love for their fan. That night was filled with some tributes to the “Hotline Bling” singer, including an adorable kid who rapped “One Dance” while Drake busted out some moves to the kid’s killer pipes. How cool is that? Well, not cool enough for Kevin we guess, who was all about playing ball and not at all interested in the distraction of “Drake Night.” Sorry, Kevin!
