Say it isn’t so! Another cast member from ‘The Hills’ — Stephanie Pratt — has just confirmed that the super popular MTV reality series was definitely ‘scripted.’ It breaks our hearts to hear this, but it’s almost impossible to think otherwise now that so many people have stated it.
“Over here it’s quite real. The States is pretty scripted,” Stephanie Pratt revealed about reality TV, while speaking at BUILD live in London on Nov. 16.
She, of course, was promoting her new show, Made In Chelsea, while comparing it to MTV’s The Hills.
“I would have to say, even though I love the friends I’ve made, the girls here are a lot cattier,” she said, while discussing her cast mates from Made In Chelsea. “It might be because The Hills [friendships] are scripted, but I was shocked by how much drama you can actually have with your closest girlfriends.”
Considering The Hills was VERY dramatic, we can’t even begin to imagine how insane Made In Chelsea is. We might have to chck it out!
As you’ll recall, Stephanie starred as a supporting cast member on The Hills from Seasons 2 through 5, and then she became a series regular in the sixth and final season. She joined the show after her older brother, Spencer, started dating Heidi Montag.
MTV recently celebrated the show’s tenth-anniversary of the premiere, and they did so by filming a special with original star Lauren Conrad. Lauren famously quit the show at the end of Season 5, so it was nice to see her return.
HollywoodLifers, how do YOU feel about The Hills being scripted? Do you believe Stephanie Pratt? And if it was fake, should she be saying so? Tell us how you feel below.
