FINALLY! A new ‘Beauty & the Beast’ trailer debuted on the Nov. 14 edition of ‘Good Morning America,’ and it’s incredible. Fate brings Belle and the Beast together in this epic love story we know so well. Click to WATCH!
The first full-length trailer starts out with the familiar music from the original movie. Emma Watson’s Belle goes in search of her father Maurice (Kevin Kline) and comes face-to-face with the Beast (Dan Stevens). She gives everyone in the castle, especially Lumiere (Ewan McGregor) and Cogsworth (Ian McKellen), hope. She may be the one to break the spell.
Slowly but surely, Belle begins to break down the walls to the Beast’s heart. They fall for each other, with their love culminating in a magical dance in the ballroom. Belle is a feisty girl and refuses to be a damsel in distress. She fights to save the Beast when Gaston goes after him.
The new trailer was released in honor of the original Beauty & The Beast’s upcoming 25th anniversary. The Disney film was released in on Nov. 22, 1991. The voice actors, including Paige O’Hara, Robby Benson, and Angela Lansbury, reunited for a special screening in NYC on Sept. 18.
The very first trailer of the live-action Beauty & The Beast was released back in May 2016, and fans haven’t seen a new one since! The footage only offered a quick glimpse of Emma Watson’s Belle, but it was more than enough to have fans hooked once again on the tale as old as time.
Emma Thompson, Luke Evans, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Audra McDonald, Stanley Tucci, and Josh Gad also star as classic characters from the Disney movie. The live-action film will be released in theaters on March 17, 2017.
