Kim Kardashian wants to have a third baby, but doctors have warned her that complications with her past pregnancies increase her risk for another one. So Kim explores the idea of surrogacy on the Nov. 13 episode of ‘KUWTK’ — but will she go through with it?
Kim Kardashian, 35, is thinking about expanding her family again on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but it’s not going to be easy. First, Khloe Kardashian, 32, and Kim have a half-joking, half-awkward conversation about Khloe having children. “I want one of your embryos,” Khloe tells her. Uh, okay.
Still, Kim wants kids again. “Lately I’ve been thinking about having another baby, but I had two really difficult pregnancies and deliveries,” Kim says in a confessional. “Getting pregnant again is something that concerns me.”
Kim and Kris Jenner, 60, visit her doctor to find out if Kim can get pregnant again. He reminds her of the complications that she had in the past, and warns her that they could be more serious the next time — and it could even be a matter of “life and death”. Yikes.
Meanwhile, Kendall Jenner, 21, decides to get involved with gun control and fight for stricter laws. “I’ve never really made a statement, but having such a big platform, I feel obligated to take action now,” she says in a confessional.
Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, 37, visit with a fertility specialist to get a second opinion. He basically tells Kim the same thing — her history increases her risk for future pregnancies. He suggests surrogacy, which gets Kim thinking. “Obviously, I do want to have my own baby, but I feel like I truly don’t know if my body can handle it one more time,” Kim tells Kourt in the car.
Rob Kardashian, 29, warns Kendall that if she gets involved with gun control laws, she’s going to get a lot of hate and backlash. “Just be prepared for the negativity,” Rob says. Kendall does some research about other celebs who has spoken out, and starts to get discouraged. “I feel like if I get involved it might do more damage than actually help,” Kendall replies. Something to think about!
Kim interviews a woman who used a surrogate to have her twins. “My biggest fear is, if I have a surrogate, will I love them the same?” Kim voices out loud. “My love for my kids isn’t different,” the woman tells her. “It’s not taking the easy way out. It’s saying, ‘I want to raise my kids.'” Kim feels reassured and hopeful!
Kim knows she can’t carry another baby. “Now I just want to explore surrogacy,” she tells her mom. Exciting!
HollywoodLifers, do you think Kim go through with surrogacy??
