We feel your pain, Katy Perry. The singer, who’s been a devoted Hillary Clinton supporter since day one, hid her beautiful face under her ‘Nasty Woman’ baseball cap on Nov. 11 as a sign of rebellion against Donald Trump. Hear her ‘Roar!’
As anti-Donald Trump protests continue to break out in major cities across the nation, Katy Perry, 32, is rebelling in her own subtle way. Dressed in blue jeans, a red shirt, and white Converse sneakers, the “Rise”singer rocked a patriotic outfit on Nov. 11 as she stepped out to run errands in West Hollywood. The boldest part about Katy’s American flag-inspired look was her riotous baseball cap that had “Nasty Woman” printed on it as a sign of Hillary Clinton support.
As we previously told you, the raven-haired beauty was both shocked and let down by Donald’s election win on Nov. 8. Katy did everything in her power to gather Hillary supporters but until the very last minute, but it sadly wasn’t enough. During her final rally, Katy admitted that her parents both voted for Donald as they’re on the conservative side. Katy has an incredibly strong religious background, growing up in a Christian household with parents as pastors. As the votes against Hillary trickled in, Katy and Lady Gaga held each other inside the Democratic nominee’s NYC headquarters.
We’re a little worried about Katy and her family life right now, but it has nothing to do with the election. The girlfriend to Orlando Bloom cancelled her concert in China due to a family emergency. “Regretfully, I must cancel my appearance on the Alibaba Double 11 due to a family emergency,” she wrote in a statement posted on Weibo (the Chinese version of Facebook). “I am very sorry to disappoint my fans and look forward to seeing you in China soon.” We hope everything is OK with Katy and her family!
HollywoodLifers, would you ever wear a “Nasty Woman” hat like Katy?
