Moments before arriving at the White House, Donald was spotted walking down the steps off of his private jet onto the tarmac. He was greeted by members of his team as well as members of the press for the historic moment, then got into his big black SUV and began the drive to Pennsylvania Avenue — which he will call home after being inaugurated in January 2017.
Although President Obama threw his support behind Donald’s opponent, Hillary Clinton, 69, he now has no choice but to work closely with the new President-elect to ensure their transfer goes smoothly. In his first speech since Donald was elected, President Obama sent encouraging words to Americans and reminded them to remain united. “Everybody is sad when their side loses an election. But the day after, we have to remember that we’re actually all on one team,” the President told his people during the speech on Wednesday, November 9.
