Demi Lovato got blasted for making a controversial joke on Twitter on Election Night, in which she told her fans to
‘grab some p—y’ — and then quickly deleted it. We have the shocking details, and her apology, here.
Oops. Demi Lovato, 24, was totally slammed by followers after she tweeted an insensitive joke on Election Night, alluding to Donald Trump‘s, 70, controversial and disgusting “p—y grabbing” comments. “Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and grab some p—y,” the “Cool For The Summer” singer wrote, referencing Donald’s disgusting remarks that he made towards women in 2005. It did NOT go over well with her fans, and she quickly deleted the tweet from her timeline.
I apologize for the joke I made earlier.. seemed to offend some people. Just making light of the election 😕

After coming under fire, the former Disney Channel star took to her Twitter again to issue an apology. “I apologize for the joke that I made earlier … seemed to offend some people,” Demi wrote. “Just making light of the election.” It totally makes sense that the singer, who is an avid supporter of Hillary Clinton, 69, was just trying to let off some steam during the tense Election Night and Donald’s shocking win. We think she definitely made the right move by explaining why she made the joke in the first place.
Since Donald’s surprising upset over Hillary, numerous A-list stars have declared that they’re leaving America. Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, Lena Dunham, and Chelsea Handler have all taken to their social media accounts to say they’re escaping the country. However, our favorite confession goes to Jon Stewart, who hilariously told People, “I’m getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet’s gone bonkers.” We hear you, Jon!
