A Nevada judge took on Donald Trump’s voter lawsuit on Nov. 8 and totally rejected it, pretty much becoming our new favorite person ever! We have the epic video, and all the details, here.
She was NOT having any of it! Nevada Judge Gloria J. Sturman rejected a lawsuit filed by Donald Trump‘s, 70, campaign on Nov. 7 that called for ballots and voting machines to be “set aside, sequestered, and impounded” from four different early-voting polling spots. The controversial Republican presidential candidate’s campaign alleged that voters at those four places were permitted to vote after the polls had closed on Nov. 4. Judge Gloria denied the request on Nov. 8, according to BuzzFeed News, at a hearing in which she was extremely “skeptical” of the lawsuit and why Trump’s team had even filed it in the first place!
“You’ve failed to exhaust [your] administrative remedies,” she said. “I am not going to expose people doing their civic duty to help people vote … to public attention, ridicule, and harassment,” the judge continued. “I’m not going to do it. I am not going to issue any order.” Judge Gloria cited fears that innocent poll workers would be harassed on Twitter and social media, had she decided to approve the lawsuit. Preach!
Donald definitely has not been having the best Election Day. Even though he and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, 69, both turned up at the NYC polls to cast their votes, they both got two VERY different receptions from the crowds around them. Donald was actually booed when he got to his voting place to vote, while Hillary seemed to have a much warmer welcome at her station in Chappaqua, NY.
