Aww. Poor Catelynn and Tyler. On the Nov. 7 episode of ‘Teen Mom OG,’ they tried hard to get in contact with Brandon and Theresa in order to get a visit with Carly, the daughter they put up for adoption in 2009. But sadly, Catelynn just got ignored, and she was left crying her eyes out.
Catelynn and Tyler normally get one visit with Carly a year, but this time around, Brandon and Teresa ignored the Teen Mom OG star’s request to see her daughter. Catelynn couldn’t understand why Teresa would choose not to answer her, so she and Tyler met with the adoption supervisor, Dawn, on the Nov. 7 episode. And it was then that Dawn showed Catelynn and Tyler the contract they signed when they placed Carly up for adoption.
It said that Catelynn had the right to request a visit, but it was up to Brandon and Teresa’s discretion if such a visit would be granted. Upon reading the contract, Catelynn started crying. She said she wished she would have known what she knows now when she signed the papers at 16 years old. It was a sad situation, but Dawn said there’s always hope for future visits. Plus, Tyler and Catelynn still have a lot to be thankful for — the recently celebrated their 1-year wedding anniversary by eating the cake they saved in their freezer.
Meanwhile, Farrah took Sophia to visit Derek‘s family before she flew back to Texas and prepped for the opening of her new furniture store. Yes, just a few weeks ago, Farrah opened a frozen yogurt shop, but now she’s opening a furniture store. It’s so random, but whatever. Of course, Debra came to visit because let’s face it — grandma loves to be on camera. And while she was in town, Farrah did nothing but attack her for telling her how to do things. Farrah must have an insecurity with looking dumb, because any time Debra would explain how to do something — AFTER Farrah asked — Farrah would nearly bite her head off.
Maci attended her very own bridal shower this week, where Jen revealed that Ryan and his dad finally made up with each other. Oh, and Ryan has a new girlfriend. We wonder how long that will last…
Another think we were skeptical about this week was Amber and Matt‘s decision to let his drug addict son, Christopher, come live with them. It seemed like a great idea, but when Amber suggested he attend meetings, he refused. He said he’d rather leave the past in the past and move forward. Are we the only ones that foresee this decision biting them in the a**? Yeah, we didn’t think so.
