It’s truly the end of an era. The cast of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ finished up filming their final scenes, and the girls revealed to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the series wrap party what it was like to say goodbye to their ‘PLL’ family and film the final scenes as their beloved characters.
HollywoodLife.com got the chance to talk to girls just days after they finished filming their final scenes on Pretty Little Liars. When asked how she was feeling now that the show has come to an end, Shay Mitchell, 29, told us: “A lot of different emotions. I think tonight we’re all feeling really celebratory that all of our hard work, you know, this is a night to celebrate. I can’t cry any more tears.”
The cast and crew posted a slew of photos of the final days on set. There were many hugs and tons of tears. Lucy Hale, 27, revealed that saying goodbye and filming was a lot tougher than she anticipated.
“It was intense, it was a lot,” Lucy told HollywoodLife.com. “It’s crazy because they put a lot of work in that day, too, and so we had to stay focused, but we were all saying our goodbyes. And there were tears from everyone, but it was a happy day too. It was like a day of celebrating because we have a lot to be happy about.”
Pretty Little Liars wrapped for good on Oct. 26. The girls, Shay, Lucy, Troian Bellisario, 31, Ashley Benson, 26, and Sasha Pieterse, 20, posted heartfelt goodbye messages on social media. Shay broke down in tears in a “Farewell Letter” she shared on YouTube. Troian admitted that saying goodbye to co-star Keegan Allen, 27, “felt like a death.” The final episodes of Pretty Little Liars will air in April 2017.
