Hulk Hogan is ready to make his comeback! The wrestling legend had to go through the ringer when his graphic sex tape was released, but now he’s relieved that his $31 million Gawker lawsuit is settled and over with. We’ve got the EXCLUSIVE scoop on his future WWE plans here!
Hulk Hogan, 63, finally has a weight lifted off his shoulders! Now that his multi-million dollar lawsuit with Gawker is officially a thing of the past, the prolific wrestler is hoping to step back into the ring. “This whole issue with Gawker really took Terry for a loop but he is more than relieved that it is finally over and he can finally move on,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He really wants to get back in the good graces with WWE and do more TV and film opportunities. And now that this is all over and settled he feels 2017 will be a clean slate.”
Hulk, whose real name is Terry Bollea, ended his lengthy legal battle with Gawker on March 18. The lawsuit was ignited after the media site released a very graphic sex tape, showing the legendary wrestler getting hot-and-heavy with his best friend’s wife in 2012. A jury of six ultimately decided that his privacy was violated, since he wasn’t aware that he was being filmed, making the release of the two-minute clip that much more traumatic. As we previously reported, he’s “super happy that the jury took his side.”
During Hulk’s emotional testimony, he admitted that his professional career was thwarted by the controversy, noting how he was completely “humiliated.” The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t set foot on the squared circle since July 2015, after his contract was terminated by the organization due to the contents of the sex tape, where he also made racial slurs. Since the ordeal, fans have been speculating like crazy that he’ll make his big return, meaning he may finally dust off his iconic wresting ensemble and bandana!
