The 50th annual Country Music Awards brought out some major glam moments from our favorite country gals. From host Carrie Underwood to nominees Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris, see all of our favorite red carpet looks right here.
Country music’s biggest stars were out in full force on Nov. 2 for the CMAs big 50th-anniversary show. With Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood reprising their co-hosting duties for the ninth year, we were anticipating a lot of surprises along the way.
But before the CMAs guests and nominees headed inside, they hit the red carpet. As always, Carrie Underwood killed it in the first of many outfits that she teased ahead of the Nashville show. Wearing the blush ball gown of our dreams, Carrie completed her look by styling her blonde bob into loose curls and wearing her go-to smokey eye and nude lip combo for her makeup.
Also team smokey eye and nude lip was Miranda Lambert, who looked amazing with a dramatic graphic eye look and simple nude lip. For her hair, Miranda pulled her blonde locks back into a tousled ponytail to show off her makeup and detailed black dress.
CMAs newcomer Maren Morris proved that she’s already a red carpet pro, dressed in a stunning black and gold sequin dress. For her hair, Maren raised the bar, styling her usual tousled waves into volumized curls that were parted down the middle.
Before she walked the red carpet, Kacey Musgraves shared a close-up look as the finishing touches to her hair and makeup were being made. Wearing her hair pulled back into a low knot thanks to Johnny Stuntz, Kacey’s dark lip which was done by Carlene Kearns was the real star of her look.
Also going for a vampy lip was actress and singer Hayley Orrantia, who wore a dark crimson shade with a more classic red lipstick at the center for an ombré effect. To complete her beauty look, Hayley opted for a brown smokey eye, and she wore her hair pulled back into a knot at the side of her head to show off her makeup.
Kelsea Ballerini went goth-glam, too, with a stunning wine lip that tied into the colors in her satin gown. For her hair, she opted for a loose low ponytail that was parted to the side with face-framing pieces left out.
Jamie Lynn Spears also made an appearance at the CMAs, showing off the cutout detailing on her sparkly black dress by wearing her hair pulled back. Letting a dark smokey eye do the statement-making, the rest of Jamie’s makeup was simple with clean skin and a glossy nude lip.
