Carrie Underwood knows how to make an entrance! The 33-year-old kicked the night off with a jaw-dropping look in Nashville at the Nov. 2 Country Music Awards. Joining Brad Paisley for their ninth show as co-hosts, Carrie teased she would be sporting multiple decade-themed looks throughout the show, but started with a timeless beauty and outfit combo.
Wearing the blush ball gown of our dreams, Carrie looked like a real-life princess as she posed for pictures. Prior to walking the red carpet, the “Church Bells” singer shared a close-up picture of her dress on Instagram that showed off the pink sequin, bead and crystal detailing that ran from the gown’s halter neckline down to its full train.
Then, there was Carrie’s stunning hair and makeup, which perfectly complemented her princess gown. Going for an elegant hairstyle, Carrie wore her blonde bob in polished curls that were parted off the side and given a glossy finish. For her makeup, the Almay spokesmodel stuck to her favorite smokey eye and glossy nude lip, but matched her eyeshadow tones to her gown with a frosty pink shade.
Leading up to the show, Carrie, who took a break from her world tour to help host the show, teased some of her looks for the night. Sharing a sneak peek at all of her decade-themed outfits on Instagram, Carrie’s looks included lots of sequins and beaded details.
