Not everyone is a cat person, but on National Cat Day, we honor those who are. Especially our fave celebs who can’t get enough of their adorable little fur babies. Check out these perfectly precious photos of celebrities like Taylor Swift (the queen of cat ladies) with their kitties.
What do Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Ian Somerhalder have in common? They all love cats! So that means Oct. 29, also known as National Cat Day, must be a pretty big deal for the group. Along with other celebs who love to post photos of them and their kitties all year long, this group is sure to say that cats are the ultimate animal and may even put them above dogs. Yes, we know, dogs may be man’s best friend, but cats rule the world in these celebs eyes. Take Tay (the queen of cat lovers) for example, who can hardly go a few weeks without posting an adorable pic to social media of her and a fluffy kitty (like Meredith). So, so, sweet.
It’s obvious Taylor is a total cat girl and we love her for it! The pop star even paid homage to her famous kitties in her epic new jam “Look What You Made Me Do,” and fans can’t help but relate. “There’s nothing I hate more than what I can’t have/Guess I’ll just stumble on home to my cats,” she says in one verse. No shame in her game! Taylor’s furry friends are named Meredith and Olivia, inspired from Grey’s Anatomy and Law & Order. She’s one of many stars who love to treat their followers to precious pics of their pets! See pics of celebs with their cats, here.
On National Cat Day we give a shout out to all the cat lovers, whether you’re famous or not, and to your feline companions. Sure, cats may be the more stoic, silent type compared to the energetic dog. But, if the internet has taught us anything, it’s that the cuteness of a cat just can’t be beat. So, cats, we salute you and all the memes you have ever inspired. If it weren’t for you, the internet would be a way less adorable place, and the world a little sadder.

Working like crazy from home and randomly snuggling with this tiny child… It's so sad that superstition makes black animals up to seven times less likely to be adopted. Let's stop this please. Let's love these beautiful dark creatures. Can you go to an animal shelter this weekend and adopt one? Please? Make them part of your family and take care of them? I would if I could but I have a full house hold of furry creatures. Superstitions may be fun as a joke with friends however leaving these animals without love and allowing them to be euthanized is not. Just like Stevie Wonder said: "When you believe in things that you don't understand Then you suffer-superstition ain't the way…" Go adopt please! Love them! Send me pictures!
