Yikes! Looks like Donald Trump has a lot to be ashamed of! In light of the presidential nominee’s crude comments about women, ‘Cosmo’ magazine put together a vid of young boys repeating his quotes. And while a bit awkward, the clip proves a major point! Some quotes were SO bad, in fact, the kids refused to say them altogether. Watch the telling video here!
Proving there’s still hope for America’s youth — and that adults are the ones who have a lot to learn — Cosmopolitan magazine filmed a few young boys reciting some of Donald Trump‘s, 70, most insulting quips from over the years. And we were relieved to see that Donald hasn’t been as influential as we may have thought! WATCH KIDS READING TRUMP QUOTES HERE.
The video brilliantly gives parents the opportunity to imagine how they would feel if they heard their own sons speaking words like those used by Donald. For example, the boys repeat things that the presidential hopeful has said about his rival Hillary Clinton, 69, such as when he called her “such a nasty woman” during the final presidential debate. Another embarrassed child is made to read, “Does she look presidential fellas? Give me a break.”
Perhaps the most painful part of the clip to watch though was when one boy was told to repeat a quote from Trump talking about Kim Kardashian, 36, back in 2013. “Does she have a good body?” the boy repeated. “No.” But when the filmmakers prod him to repeat the second part of the quote — “Does she have a fat a**? Absolutely” — the boy stands awkwardly and says, “I don’t wanna say that.”
While a bit painful to watch, in the end, the video is super inspirational. We love that little boys actually weren’t influenced by the GOP nominee’s derogatory attitude towards women, and that not only do they totally disagree with his words — they appear to HATE them! These children definitely seem to understand something that Donald clearly does not. They know it’s NEVER ok to talk about a woman or a girl in such demeaning terms. In fact, as one boy so eloquently put it, it’s “very mean.”
“This has got to stop right now, because consider this: If all of this is painful to us as grown women, what do you think this is doing to our children?” Michelle Obama, 52, she said while campaigning for Hillary in New Hampshire earlier this month. “And how is this affecting men and boys in this country — because I can tell you that the men in my life do not talk about women like this and I know that my family is not unusual.”
Turns out, according to this video, Michelle was spot on and Trump is the one in the minority. When asked how they would feel if someone spoke to their mother that way, one little boy told the cameras, “I would feel like I’d wanna beat them up.” Another replied that he would want to “scare them away” because “that’s being mean to my mom. And I love my mom.” Aw!
