Is there anything Gigi Hadid can’t do? Her latest venture was a collaboration with Stuart Weitzman to create a new shoe, ‘The Gigi Boot,’ & she headed to the launch party in NYC on Oct. 26th. Gigi opted to wear a black corset over a long button-down blouse & we can’t decide if it’s stylish or bizarre. What do you guys think? VOTE.
Gigi, 21, is taking the fashion world by storm, both on and off the runways. Not only did she just announce on Oct. 26th that she will officially walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show again, she also launched her amazing new shoe, The Gigi Boot, with Stuart Weitzman.
Considering Gigi is one of the world’s most popular supermodels, and the face of the Stuart Weitzman campaign, it’s only right that she create her own shoe, especially since she’s taken a dip into the design pool this year. Just a few months back, Gigi made her debut in fashion design when she created a capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, TOMMYXGIGI. She is seriously unstoppable.
Gigi headed to NYC to celebrate the launch of the shoe collab, and she opted to wear quite the outfit. She rocked a long, crisp white button down blouse that fell below her knees and she kept the shirt unbuttoned, covering her bodice with a skin-tight black corset. The corset cinched in her tiny waist and added definition to her outfit, but we’re not sure we love this trend.
She paired the outfit with a simple pair of black skinny leg pants, and of course, topped the entire ensemble off with a pair of her new metallic silver Gigi Boots.
We have been seeing the corset-over-shirt trend a ton recently on everyone from Kylie Jenner, 19, to Kim Kardashian, 36, and we have to be honest, it’s not our favorite. Corsets are sexy and definitely flattering, but it just looks like it doesn’t belong over a blouse, it should be left underneath — do you guys agree?
What do you guys think of Gigi’s outfit — do you love it or loathe it? VOTE.
