Will Eleven be back? That’s the question everyone is wondering after the season one finale of ‘Stranger Things’ left us with no idea of what was coming next. However, Millie Bobby Brown just dropped quite the hint.
“Shhhhh @dkharbour don’t say a word! #s02 #strangerthings @netflix @strangerthingstv,” Millie Bobby Brown, AKA Eleven, wrote on Instagram with a photo of her covering David Harbour‘s mouth during a panel at Phoenix Comic Con. Of course, the season ended with Eleven seemingly disappearing — but did Harbour’s police chief Jim Hopper know where she was? It appeared that way when he left Eggo waffles in the woods in the last scene.
So, it is pretty telling to see that David and Millie have been doing so many panels together. During New York Comic Con, HollywoodLife.com was there for the David-Millie show and when a fan asked what it would be like if Jim Hopper adopted Eleven, David joked that they’d have a “rich emotional arc” and it’s something he’d love to explore.
Hmm, sounds strange. We know very little about season two, but he did admit that he’s read the first “insane” few scripts, and the love triangle will absolutely be back.
“Imagine if Barb came back and Jonathan and Barb were dating. That would be incredible,” Millie said laughing, bringing up the incredibly popular character we lost in season one. “We do deal with loose ends in season two, and we deal with some of the internet rage over Barb’s death,” David added. “We will have justice for Barb in some sense, but those of you wishing Barb magically comes back to life on the show, I can assure you Barb is very much dead.”
So, do you think Eleven will be back? Do you want her to be? Let us know. Season two begins filming at the beginning of October in Atlanta.
